WARNING!: As always, this page is extremely spoiler heavy... If you didn't want to know, then don't blame me that you looked!

Ahhh the Follow Up Films. Only two so far, but certainly worth mentioning all the same. These films, which where both made in the heat of the popularity for actual Phantom movies, often incorporated some of the same cast and production crews of the movies that inspired them! They don't necessarily really have anything at all to do with Phantom of The Opera however.

***MUCH MUCH MORE COMING TO THIS SECTION SOON!***

(1944) The Climax

Dir: George Waggner Wri: Edward Lockem, Curt Siodmak Cast: Boris Karloff, Susanna Foster, Turhan Bey

Where To Buy: Amanzon.com is certainly a good place... VHS copies tend to be a little on the expensive side. E-Bay is also never a bad idea. DVD edition so of this are now available on The Boris Karloff Collection box set! Grab it at Amazon.com

(1991) Dance Macabre

Dir/ Wri: Greydon Clark Cast: Robert Englund, Michelle Zeitlin, Marianna Moen

In a million years I never thought I would see Robert Englund in a dress... Let alone practically playing Norma Desmond.

I have a lot to say about this movie... But I'm not going to say it now.

For what its worth, I really liked it over all. Its kind of like a diet Susperia, but with Freddy Krueger in Drag.

Fun Facts!: According to the IMDB, this movie was actually released with the tile, "The Phantom of The Opera," in the Philippines. Swan Lake repeats quite often in this movie, and no one seems to know what music it is! One character described it as, 'something she picked up... It's just good to dance to!'

Where to Buy: EBay. Amazon.com has copies as well, but I've heard from more than one person that their copies have never materialized.... Copies go for a little as 1 cent on E-Bay however, so try there! So far this has not yet been released on DVD.
